Congratulations to Sharon and family on the birth of Charlize Rose!
Sharon gave birth to a beautiful little baby girl with Trisomy 18 and hypoplastic left heart on July 29th. Today she is enjoying her 27th day with her!!! It simply makes me smile. I am so happy that Charlize is being surrounded by the love of her family and giving love in return–I pray she has 27 more, and 27 more, and 27 more, and ……………….
Sharon shared some of the most wonderful, touching pictures with me–I posted just a few. Isn’t Charlize gorgeous?
From an earlier email Sharon said, “She is in the most wonderful wrapping Marge, just like your Dekar.” I love that. What a perfect way to describe our babies–in a “wonderful wrapping.”

She is beautiful! I have not had a child with Trisomy. I stumbled accross it on Youtube and had never even heard of it. Charlize is one of the most beautiful babies I have ever seen! I love the top (1st) picture of her. I am so sorry for your loss and have no idea how you live through this, but you do. Though we all want a lifetime of happiness with our children, I’m sure after going through this, you decide to be happy for every day you can get. It’s truly a gift that you got almost 2 months with this angel baby. I hope you are doing well…. Thank you for taking the time to share your story.

it is now 1 year and 1 day since we lost our baby girl…Charlize Rose,but we have grown so much and we owe it all to our precious little angel. Sure there are still those dreaded days but the happy ones now outweigh the bad and we thank her for sharing her time with us and for chosing us to love her. xxxxx

Our little Charlize Rose can now fly free with Dekar. She gave us 58 days of love and gained her wings on 25th Sept at 3.51pm. I cannot believe she has been gone for 4 days now it already seems like eternity…..it hurts so much.xxxxx

Thank you for these beautiful photo’s what a little treasure she is. If it helps my girlfriends baby has Trisomy 13, she is now 31, lives independently and touches everyone’s heart.

Hi Michelle, Thank you, Our little girl is giving us the most love ever. I feel so priveledged to be able to spend this amazing time with her and get to know her. We all need to take a lesson and learn to make every second count as it is times like these you really cherish every second, and realize how important every second and every breath is. With love Sharon xx P.S She is 34 days old today has put on about 400grams since birth and grown 2.5cm what an amazing little fighter she is!!!
